Fox Sports have done a 3-year deal that would provide winner-takes-all pots
of $60 million – rising to $100 million in year 3.
Six of the best players in the world, including Phil Ivey, will face each
other at Crown Casino in Australia for a chance to win the pot. The tournament
is due to take place on July 12.
Lets hope poker retains its popularity – or that could be a hell of an
expensive deal
