Some press releases read like a joke, even in Las Vegas: "Tropicana Resort and Casino today announced that it will bring the blockbuster ‘BODIES…The Exhibition,’ featuring real human bodies, to Las Vegas.

" However, this is for real: "The Exhibition showcases 21 whole-body specimens and more than 260 organs and partial body specimens. These real human bodies have been meticulously dissected, preserved through an innovative process and respectfully presented, giving visitors the opportunity to view the beauty and complexity of their own organs and systems."

The world’s first guide to Vegas from a real Vegas cocktail waitress:

My name is Dollie, I’m a Las Vegas cocktail waitress and every day I meet hundreds of people from all over the world. Most people seem to be well-intentioned and sincerely want to know how things are done here in Vegas so that they can have a good time, and that they can also bring enjoyment to the people serving them. And then there are the rest…the endless stream of poor lost souls who have this need to dump their stupid questions and comments to cocktail waitresses…sigh!

The information on this web site is from my personal experience as a cocktail waitress in Las Vegas, as well as things I’ve been told from other cocktail waitresses, bartenders, and other casino employees. Please know that I am not speaking as an authority on any topic, just the truth as I know it. My intent is to inform people, to give a glimpse at the real people who live and work here, and to remind everyone to never lose your sense of humor!
